Tallinn Architecture Biennale (TAB) opens on the 13th of September.  The theme of 2017 is bioTallinn, challenges typical assumptions of what constitutes the boundary between natural and artificial realms. Noumena will be part of the Curatorial Exhibition with the installation ”Robotic Habitats”, which aims to question the evolution of artificial intelligence into a new species, operating among the intersection of Nature and Technology. The installation showcases multiple robots establishing novel symbiotic associations within their surrounding, finally conceiving a natural landscape robotically manipulated. The goal of this installation is provoking a discussion around the role of AI within our Society and the rise of a new equilibrium among the forces ruling our World’s ecosystem.
All the exhibitions and installations will stay open for public until the 27th of October 2017.

Curator of TAB: Claudia Pasquero
Robotic habitats team: Aldo Sollazzo, Eugenio Bettucchi, Marco Sanalitro, Laura Civetti, Angel Muñoz, Cristian Rizzuti, Stuart Maggs
