Could we imagine an architecture responsive to its surroundings? Which design principles should this new conception of architecture follow and from which materials would it be made of?

Adaptive structure and material performance Open Lecture #16 will investigate unexplored prototypes of adaptive structures based on material intelligence, without the use of electronics and active mechanical parts.

The architect engineer Efilena Baseta, currently a Marie Curie PhD candidate in the University of Applied Arts Vienna and partner of Noumena, will be holding the lecture the 28th of November at the Institute of Architecture and Media in Graz.
