Technologies for refugees and High Tech, Reception, Medicine and History – these are the topics debated by Aldo Sollazzo and Francesco Lipari in the article written for Wired Italia. The purpose of the piece is to shine a light on the Jordan StarUp ROW (Refugee Open Ware).
The StartUp works towards giving new possibilities to the refugees escaping from war and conflicts, by providing these communities with multiple services possible due the 3D Printing Systems incorporated into primary health care, by the creation of medical prosthesis.
The initiative aims to create an innovation center network for Middle Eastern and European areas. A very interesting article about the new, broadened boundaries of technology, this time being at the disposal of refugees, in order to give them the possibility of a better future.
